The sunroom was designed with strong emphasis on
sunset colors. This room's color palette was designed in a
deeper hue than that in the adjoining living room, yet the two rooms
still relate to each other. The same color family used
in both rooms unites the two spaces while the difference in depth of
color creates interest and individuality.
Asian influences in the sunroom include a white lacquered Chinese
chest, a silkscreen field print, metal rice bowls, and painted
porcelain planters.
Unique details in the room include the sculpted
wall daffodil, the fabric underlay under the glass tabletop, and the
hand painted canvas area rug.
